Report:
- The Current Auroral Oval on spaceweather.com was showing high activity all the way south of our location in Saint John, so I went out to the park beside where I live an took these images through the clouds and smoke from a nearby pulp and paper mill. There were times when the aurora shone brightly through holes in the clouds, to the North East and to the North. Images taken around 2030hrs. A nice, bright First Quarter Moon was peeking out through holes in the fast moving clouds, in the south west. Every once in a while, Arcturus would also appear in the north west.
